How often are ratings and views counted?
Ratings and views are counted once a day. This means that once you rate or view a photo, these will be included in the statistics in less than 24 hours. Aside from this, you will immediately see your rating once you rate a photo. The statistics gathered every 24 hours are used to determine the top rated photos and the most viewed photos of yesterday (top yesterday) that are displayed on our homepage.
My upload was rejected. What should I do now?
When your upload is rejected this can be due to several reasons. It might be rejected because of the information about the aircraft you uploaded, if you uploaded a photo the photo might have been rejected or maybe even both the aircraft information and the photo have been rejected.
In the email notifying you about your upload the reason(s) for rejection of your upload is stated, possibly with a personal comment from one of our screeners. Depending on the reason for rejection, you might be able to correct for it. In that case, please upload the corrected aircraft information and/or photo, as it will likely be accepted. If you do not know what to do with your upload when it has been rejected, do not hesitate to reply to the notification email (or to contact us by using our contact form). We will then try to give more insight in why your upload was rejected and what you might be able to do about it.

What does Avionicks mean?
Avionicks is an acronym for aviation nicknames (the subject of this website).
